Drones are being equipped with more and more high-resolution cameras in a constrained space, leading to some challenges in routing the wire harness within the drone as each MIPI sensor requires typically 10 wires to be routed to the application processor. 

What Value Do We Bring?

The replacement of multiple copper wires by using MIPI serialization over an embedded cable having a single extremely thin optical fiber or a pair of copper wires brings significant benefits in terms of routing and weight.

Our MIPI SerDes, TIA, and Driver chipsets used inside embedded cables serialize signals from the high-resolution image sensors and help to reduce weight and size.
