SL8472x is a MIPI D-PHY dual port serializer which supports a total D-PHY input bandwidth of up to 20 Gbps. It is designed to create a complete serialized link for VR / AR, laptop, mobile, medical and security applications and can be used to transport the serialized data optically or electrically. It also includes a low-speed sideband signal serdes function.

  • Each port serializes up to 4 MIPI D-PHY data lanes together with the MIPI D-PHY clock lane
  • Supports lane data rates of up to 2.5 Gbps per lane
  • Each port can serialize two cameras, the IC supports in total up to 4 cameras
  • Integrated bidirectional serdes function for GPI, GPO, I2C, SPI, PDM etc
  • Ultra-low power consumption of 27 mW per port in electrical serialization mode
  • Available in a uBGA-78 package
