Stuttgart, Germany – Silicon Line® by EverProX successfully demonstrated the future of high-speed optical connectivity at VISION 2026. As higher-resolution image sensors, faster frame rates, and edge AI processing generate unprecedented amounts of data, hardware architects face the critical challenge of transmitting this data reliably without compromising bandwidth, power, or reach.
At Booth #8E31, Silicon Line addressed these industry bottlenecks by showcasing its latest MSDL™ (MIPI Serial Data Link) 20G D-PHY SerDes, enabling next-generation machine vision architectures. The technology delivers 20 Gbps MIPI bandwidth and extends optical reach up to 20 meters, while ensuring ultra-low power consumption, EMI-free transmission, and support for ultra-compact camera designs.
To demonstrate the real-world capabilities of extending MIPI connectivity over optical fiber, the team featured three dynamic live setups:
- MSDL 20G: A triple 4K camera setup with integrated sideband serialization.
- 20 Gbps USB3 Vision: Powered by Infineon FX20 and an EverProX 10m Active Optical Cable (AOC).
- Uncompressed 4K Video: High-speed wireless video data bridged over reliable optical transmission.
