If you arrive by
train you may either take a cab or the U-Bahn (U4 or U5) to get to
Silicon Line. Please follow the respective signs at Munich
central station.
Arriving by
Airplane
If you arrive by
plane you may either take a cab or the S-Bahn to get to
Silicon Line. Please follow the respective signs at Munich
airport.
If you choose to take the S-Bahn, please note that there are 2
lines (S1 and S8) leaving the airport. You may choose either line.
Disembark the train at central station ('Hauptbahnhof') after an
approximately 45 minutes ride (S1) or 41 minutes ride (S8).
At central station you need to change to the subway lines U4
or U5.
Disembark the subway at 'Westendstrasse' and leave the
platform at the rear end.
From the rear end exit of 'Westendstrasse' it is a just
short walk to Silicon
Line.
Taking the U-Bahn
The closest U-Bahn station to Silicon Line is the station 'Westendstrasse'.
Please take the subway line U4 or U5 towards either
'Westendstrasse' or 'Laimer Platz'. Disembark the subway at
'Westendstrasse' and leave the platform at the rear end.
From the rear end exit of 'Westendstrasse' it is a just
short walk to Silicon
Line.
Taking a cab
If you choose to
take cab to get to Silicon Line it will cost approximately
€15.- when you take the cab from Munich central station or
approximately €50.- when you take the cab from Munich Airport.
